For a pack this size, that's the difference between holding 20 TPS at peak population and crashing into chunk lag.
All The Mods 10 is one of the biggest modpacks out there, with around 430 mods. A 6 to 10 player server needs about 12 GB of RAM, and the Sky and ATMons (with Cobblemon) variants are even heavier. We recommend the Extreme plan to reduce lag and keep play smooth.
